She’s back?
Rode Quite Quiet yesterday and she was the horse I had before I took her to Wendy’s…that is rideable. I don’t blame Wendy she is a professional and didn’t do anything wrong but a lot of thoroughbreds don’t take to the traditional dressage training methods. And for Quite Quiet who has quite (ha!) a bit of PTSD from her racing days it did not go over well AT ALL. We only rode for about 15 minutes but got right to work doing trot circles, transitions and the like. She was nowhere near perfect but we did not freeze once. She has now been on the Abprazole for 18 days and her demeanor both on the ground and under saddle have greatly improved in that time. Really hoping we’re heading in the right direction and continue trending upward!
